The Witch Who Made Me King

The Witch Who Made Me King: the story

In a kingdom of swords and secrets, a bastard knight has one week to seize the crown. Help arrives from the Blackwood in the form of a witch who offers a bargain: she will back his claim, and in return she wants his nights.

That deal drives a story about ambition, desire and double-crosses, with a throne that could burn along the way. The mood is dark and sensual, more court intrigue than cozy romance, suggestive and never graphic, and later episodes turn more intimate as the week runs down. Seven days is a short clock, so expect a brisk pace with the stakes rising each night.

If you like crowns, curses and moral gray areas, this is a good sample of Candy’s fantasy side, and the fantasy collection has more.

The series has five episodes. Episode 1 plays with no account, and a free Candy account opens Episode 2. Episodes 3 to 5 cost 12 tokens each, unless you watch with the tokens from a Premium plan. Pricing changes from time to time, so the checkout shows the current offer.
